  We found this little place in Alvin, Texas located behind the Walmart off of Hwy 6. We we're wondering where one of our favorite waiters got off to from one of our other favorite local places. We found out that he took the job as manager at this little place so we came to check it out! They brought out the usual Chips and Salsa and the Red Salsa was really good as was the Green Salsa. We ordered an appetizer of homemade Guacamole that was really good and made fresh. I ordered the 3 beef enchilada platter that came with rice and beans as well as two crispy on the side. My wife ordered the Guadalajara which came with 2 beef enchilada's, one taco Al carbon with chicken fajitas, a puffy cheese tostada, with rice and charro beans. We ordered Easton a child's plate that came with a crisply beef taco and rice and beans. For drinks we all had coke, root beer, and sprite. The wait staff was really friendly and accomodating, and on their game! This place has a real nice ambience to it too! The food was really good and the portions were plenty. They have a nice menu to chose from, and there were a couple of items our like to come back and check out!!! So we will be coming back soon!

  I have no idea how this place gets such rave reviews, but based on my lunch there 3 days ago, this is easily one of the worst places in Alvin for Mexican food.
  
  We came in around 1ish on Tuesday.
  Service from primary waitress was terrible, the chip and salsa woman was awesome and did everything but take order and serve our food.
  She was the only highlight in a very dismal lunch.
  
  We ordered the 10pc mini chicken taquito appetizer.
  Very clever, it's 5 big ones cut in half.
  The chicken was impossible to eat, it had the consistency of a mop.
  
  I ordered a #7 off the lunch menu, the wife had a #12.
  
  Mine, the #7, was 2 chicken fajita enchiladas, rice and beans.
  I got a small amount of cubed chicken breast in a corn tortilla, nothing else.
  Chili sauce was bland and there was the slighest and I do mean slighest bit of cheese melted on there.
  
  The wife's, the #12, was a chicken enchilada, a tamale, rice and beans.
  The enchilada was made with same inedible chicken as taquitos and half the tamale was dried out and hard.
  
  Really a sad showing all the way around considering they were barely busy and we saw other plates going out that didn't look nearly as bad.
  
  I won't write em off till we have a 2nd visit, but they're gonna have really step up their game.

  I typically would have gone somewhere else but since it was a Sunday non of my usual taco spots were open so I called in a to go order for 2 fajita beef tacos with charro beans and rice , which also came with chips and salsa .
  
  I showed up 10 minutes after putting the order in and went through the drive thru - I was asked to pull up and wait , so I did and waited 15 more minutes before I decided to go through the drive thru again and finally got my order .
  
  The salsa was warm and tasted fresh, not spicy at all .
  
  Tacos were ok , tortillas were a little dry and the meat was average and not really comparable to typical fajita beef street tacos as it was cut different -( like in cubes ?)
  
  Charro beans were surprisingly good though and I loved the cilantro that was added .
  
  Overall the food was ok but the wait time was poor.
  I would be willing to give them another chance if the opportunity presented itself .

  Stopped in for some lunch. Always very quick service and food is delicious. I will continue to visit this small Mexican restaurant because of the amazing food and service.

  From scratch cooking! Absolutely delicious.
  The service was great, we felt right at home. The green salsa is amazing. I had the enchiladas and my friend had the taquitos!
